In this article, it begins to describe Ground Zero as the “widely accepted term of reference for the site where the Twin Towers once stood.” The article describes the plans of Park51, saying it will “house a mosque, an interfaith program, fitness facilities, a restaurant, and a memorial to the victims of the 9/11 attacks.” It then begins to talk about how Americans have begun to disagree with the plans, saying that Radical Muslims cal it a "victory mosque." This in tune scares Americans, thinking that by allowing the plans to go on, they are allowing Muslims to walk all over them. The article also talks about how a majority of America is against Park51 only because of the fact that they feel Muslims in general are responsible for the 9/11 attacks. The article then talks about how Obama used Catholics as an example when backing up Park51 by saying that practicing your Catholic faith used to be prohibited, and now that Catholics can worship as they please, Muslims should be able to do the same. Not allowing the Muslims to worship freely goes against our Constitution. The article stated that Muslims were a part of the deceased on 9/11 and also a part of the personnel who saved lives in the wreckage. It also states that Americans should be against the opposition of Park51 because it would bring about anger in Radical Islam.

This point of view is very important because it talks about people’s disagreeing opinions on Park51, and then proves why they should be for the construction. They are basically looking at the issue at a more mature level, and putting facts behind the opinion, giving the reader a more educational angle to the argument. The article is also very important because it brings Obama into it, talking about his reaction to the issue. Obama is a role model to many people thoughout America, and if Obama approves of Park51, so will many Americans who look up to him. The point of view also helps because it gives an opinion not said by many. Because of the relative domination of anti-Park51 citizens, it is hard to find someone willing to voice an opinion for Park51 who isn’t Muslim. It helps to have a biased opinion when pertaining to a heated debate. This helps make a more logical opinion.
